Today, most modern military systems are equipped with various sensors. The ideal operation of such sensors helps to realize target tracking. Due to the nature of the sensor system and the types of noises, one kind of sensor alone cannot be ideally used in target tracking. As a result, several different sensors are used in new systems for tracking. Radar systems are usually used to measure the angle and range of targets. Although they measure the range with high accuracy, radar systems cannot measure the target angle with proper accuracy. On the other hand, IRST data can measure the target angle with high accuracy and determine the direction of the target completely, but they do not provide special information about the target range. Providing a structure to integrate the information of these sensors facilitates the exact location of the target and also tracks the change of the target location. In this study, various structures for target tracking in 3D coordinates have been presented by combining radar data and IRST data. The results of target tracking with radar or IRST are very weak compared to the combination of radar and IRST. The performance of the SVF algorithm is favorable in terms of calculation speed and implementation complexity, as expected. Also, IRST-based tracking alone is expected to require less time and subsequently show poorer performance.
Karim Salimi Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-01-18 2025-01-18 4 1 10.69557/ujrra.v4i1.134 ASSAYING THE IMPACT OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGIES ON TRACKING AND VERIFYING GREEN INVESTMENTS AND FINANCING IN EMERGING MARKETS http://tmp.twistingmemoirs.com/index.php/ujrra/article/view/135
This article assays the impact of blockchain technology on tracking and verifying green investments in emerging markets. Weber tries to make the path to achieving objectivity in the social sciences smooth and reliable for the social scientist by accepting values before the research and using elements such as value relations and the principle of selection. However, this has led to critical discussions by commentators. This research has attempted to correctly interpret and examine Weber's approach, which is to achieve a social science with the criterion of objectivity. We have also tried to show that the project of objectivity for Weber in the social sciences does not follow a smooth path at all. Thus, we will also witness criticisms from commentators, but all this does not diminish the importance of Weber's methodology and his intellectual effort as one of the pioneers of the philosophy of social sciences to solve the problems surrounding values and to achieve objectivity in the social sciences.
Ali Shamsi Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-02-06 2025-02-06 4 1 10.69557/ujrra.v4i1.143 THE EFFECT OF TREATMENT BASED ON ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT ON SELF-COMPASSION OF PEOPLE WITH DIABETES http://tmp.twistingmemoirs.com/index.php/ujrra/article/view/144
The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of treatment based on acceptance and commitment to self-compassion of people with diabetes. Using herbal compounds has emerged as a promising potential to fight obesity and its associated diseases. Their nano-formulation can be an effective solution due to some limitations of their clinical application. Thus, the present study investigated the biological effects of chitosan-coated Ellettaria cardamomum nanoemulsions on obesity. In this study, the above nanoemulsions were synthesized using the ultrasonic method and the minimum amount of surfactant (Tween 80), cosurfactant (ethylene glycol), and chitosan. DLS, TEM, and Real-Time PCR techniques were used to characterize the synthesized nanoemulsions and evaluate their biological effects. The results indicated that the synthesized nanoemulsions had a diameter of 178.92 nm, a dispersion index 0.18, and a zeta potential of 25.50 mV. Thus, they have a homogeneous dispersion in addition to the appropriate size. The results of the evaluation of FTO gene expression also revealed that the level of FTO gene expression decreased significantly in the groups receiving nanoemulsion, compared to the negative control group (P≤0.05). Additionally, comparing the mean weights of the samples in the treated groups with the control groups in the fourth and fifth weeks of treatment revealed that the weight of the experimental groups decreased significantly compared to the control groups (P≤0.05). Therefore, chitosan-coated Ellettaria cardamomum nanoemulsions can inhibit obesity by reducing FTO gene expression. However, more studies are needed to further evaluate and investigate the potential of their clinical use.
Azadeh Mehraban Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-03-05 2025-03-05 4 1 10.69557/ujrra.v4i1.149 OPTIMIZATION OF ELASTIC OPTICAL NETWORKS THROUGH OPTIMAL ROUTING AND SPECTRUM ALLOCATION TO REDUCE COST AND INCREASE RELIABILITY http://tmp.twistingmemoirs.com/index.php/ujrra/article/view/150
The development of communication networks and the need for high data rate transmission led to the creation of fiber optic networks. The increasing expansion of computer networks highlighted the need to transmit a large volume of data. One of the challenges affecting elastic fiber optic networks is the optimal use of available resources. The reason is that the increased number of users disrupts network services. One way to optimize elastic fiber optic networks is to find appropriate routing for message broadcasting. Reliability and security criteria have not been discussed in the research literature. This study aims to use an efficient algorithm for routing and spectrum or frequency allocation. To enhance security and reliability, low-latency and reliable alternative paths are introduced for each node in the network so that the relevant objectives can be pursued even after the node fails. The proposed solution was evaluated on a complex problem and compared with the results of particle swarm optimization and genetic algorithms. When comparing the algorithms, criteria such as best-case convergence, average convergence, stability, and some statistical parameters were considered. The implementation conditions of all three algorithms were considered completely equal and fair. The results show the correct and appropriate performance of the global competition algorithm compared to other methods.
Mojtaba Sheibani Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-03-05 2025-03-05 4 1 10.69557/ujrra.v4i1.150 LEARNING ENGLISH THROUGH ONLINE PLATFORMS: AN ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE LEARNING METHODS VIA WEBSITES AND EDUCATIONAL PLATFORMS LIKE COURSERA AND EDX COMPARED TO TRADITIONAL TEACHING MET http://tmp.twistingmemoirs.com/index.php/ujrra/article/view/151
This research compares the effectiveness of online platforms, such as Coursera and edX, and traditional classroom methods in teaching English.
